Geography, the science of the earth and its surface, location, distribution, physical, cultural features, and all other aerial differentiation. Geography is an academic discipline and career has yet to realize its full potential in India. An undergraduate curriculum, offered in this institute broadly consisted of two branches. One is Physical Geography and the other is Human Geography. It is the subject of fieldwork. Department organizes this field-based educational tour for the B.A. General students in each and every academic session since the year of establishment. The affiliated university offers the course which is laboratory-based. Different field instruments are used to make levelling and surveying works. Students of this department participate in different knowledge-based activities such as annual exhibition, science fair and other environmental related activities. Most of ex-students for the last few years are getting jobs and at the same most of them are studying post -graduation courses under different university.
